ARTHOUSE
Outdoor Art Tour
One of the largest open-air art galleries in Europe is located on the steep banks of Lake Maggiore. Andreas Hoffmann will guide you through the extensive grounds with breathtaking views of the lake and give you fascinating insights into the paintings and sculptures.
Ideally, you should come in the late afternoon/early evening. When the sun goes down, our art shines to captivate you.
Please allow about two hours for the tour.
Contribution towards expenses per person: CHF 100
(refunded when a work of art is purchased).
The ArtTour is only possible by appointment.

Under a new guise, the La Gioia Ascona Arthouse ties in with the concept of the original “Monte Verità” artist colony. In the early 20th century, Ascona was an inspiring meeting place for artists, writers and intellectuals from around the world. Erich Maria Remarque, Heinrich Vogeler and Paul Klee regularly visited Ronco sopra Ascona.
